Grant Strategy for Food Access Nonprofits

More meals served.Less grant paperwork.

Florida food banks and pantries are fighting to keep up with demand. We handle the 20 hours a month of grant research and drafting so your team can run the warehouse, stock the shelves, and feed the families.

The Quiet Crisis

You know the grants exist. You just don't have time to chase them.

The average Florida food pantry ED spends 6 hours a week on grant paperwork. That is time that could go to operations. Meanwhile, $12 million in new state food bank expansion funding just dropped, USDA TEFAP cycles are open, and Publix Charities is accepting applications.

That's where we come in.

How We're Different

Not another generalist. A specialist built for your mission.

Federal, state, and private funders, mapped to your service area.

TEFAP, Farm to Food Bank, Publix Super Markets Charities, Florida Department of Agriculture, Walmart Foundation, Robert Wood Johnson, and your local community foundation. We track every cycle relevant to your county so you stop missing them.

Narratives built on your data, not generic hunger statistics.

We turn your pounds distributed, meals served, and households reached into the evidence funders actually fund. Every draft uses your numbers, your story, your community. Not a template pulled off the internet.

Deadlines tracked so you don't have to.

Each matched grant gets a deadline ladder with a draft start date, a review window, and a submission reminder. Nothing hits the wire at 11:53pm ever again.

How It Works

Three steps. Zero headaches.

01

We Scan

Our team monitors every federal, state, and foundation cycle relevant to Florida food access nonprofits. When a grant matches your programs, you hear about it first.

02

We Draft

Using your data (pounds distributed, families served, community impact) we build proposals that read like you wrote them. Because your story is what funders fund.

03

You Submit

You review, we revise, and the application goes out on time with a human grant strategist's signoff. No automated submissions. No exceptions.

Take the Next Step

Let's find the grants your pantry is missing.

Thirty minutes. We review your last three grants and hand you five funders you haven't approached. No pitch, no obligation.

FAQ

Questions we hear most.

Both. We research and match funders to your programs, then draft full proposals using your data and your voice. Every draft is reviewed by a human grant strategist before you see it.

About Us

I just wanted to help the people who help people.

My name is Octavio Daroch. I'm a college student at Florida Atlantic University. I play sports, I go to class, and I spend a lot of time thinking about how to make things better for the people around me. My faith and my relationship with God drive everything I do. One day I started looking into food insecurity in Florida and I couldn't believe what I found. The nonprofits feeding our communities, the ones doing the hardest and most important work, are drowning in grant paperwork instead of focusing on the families who need them. They don't need another consultant. They need someone who actually cares and who will do the work. So I started Florida Food Grants. I'm not a seasoned executive. I'm a college kid who saw a problem and decided to do something about it. Every pantry director I talk to reminds me why this matters. If we can take the grant burden off their plate, they can get back to doing what they do best: feeding people.
